butt-ass cold

It is way too cold outside. So cold the above-ground trains in Brooklyn weren’t running properly this morning—something about the signals freezing, maybe. I walked past a cat on a stoop crying to get inside, but it wasn’t my cat or my stoop so I hurried on by to get to the train.

It is butt-ass cold.
